Hi friend!
I'm Alex and it's great to meet you! I'm a botanical watercolor artist and teacher living in Fort Worth, Texas with my husband, Jared and our chocolate lab Ranger.
I believe that anyone can paint beautiful watercolors if they have the willingness to learn and one of my favorite things is to see a student grow in confidence over the course of just a couple hours!
My classes are fun, informal, and encouraging. I'll teach you classic techniques and give you do-able projects.

What to expect:
- This is a beginner level class. No experience is necessary!
- Class will start with an overview of fundamental watercolor techniques as we add to our watercolor sampler.
- You will learn about wet-into-wet and wet-on-dry techniques; how to blend and soften; basic flat washes and color mixing exercises; posture and control; and great mindset tips!
- I'll also show you a few different ways to use your brush and you'll finish class with a beautiful reference piece.
- You have ongoing access to this class. It is online and doesn't expire.
